APPA STANDARDS AUDIT
At WS Management Group, our passion lies in upholding the highest cleaning standards and facilitating a collaborative approach between property owners and cleaning contractors. Whether you oversee an educational institution, a corporate office, a healthcare facility, or any other commercial or municipal property, our third-party cleaning audit program (Inspections, Validate Resolutions, and Quality Improvement Reporting) is designed to not only gauge but also elevate your cleaning standards.
OUR PROCESS
APPA Audits – Audits are entirely random, so the client and their service provider are unaware of where the next audit will take place. Assignments are sent to the audit team the night before, so this process remains random. Our auditors use quality control software to audit each inspection point within each inspection area. These points and room types are a predetermined number of the building's total square footage. We document deficiencies that need correction.
Reporting – As our auditors move through the facility documenting areas of improvement, that data is sent in real-time to custodial managers so they can immediately work with their team to correct the issues.
Re-Inspection –Depending on the contract verbiage, the service provider will have a set number of days to correct the issues found in the audit, and documented in the reporting. Our auditor will return to this facility and the deficiency to verify its resolution.
Results – Upon completing the entire audit/inspection, we will provide the client with final reporting results that they can use to help get the service provider to the level of expectation they were contracted for.
CLEANING CONTRACT REVIEW AND SCOPE DEVELOPMENT
The Scope of Work (SOW) is a crucial section within any agreement that precisely delineates the tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken. It serves as the blueprint for the work to be performed, outlining in detail the milestones, reports, deliverables, and final products that the performing party is expected to provide.
Integral to the SOW are Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which establish measurable criteria for evaluating the project's success. These indicators provide a quantitative measure of performance, allowing for an objective assessment of the progress and outcomes.
Furthermore, the scope can encompass reward and penalty initiatives, providing incentives for exemplary performance and consequences for deviations from the agreed-upon standards. In this way, the SOW not only outlines the tasks and deliverables but also establishes the metrics for success and consequences for adherence, ensuring a clear and accountable framework for the project.
